How to Apply DAAD-NRF Joint Scholarship Programme South Africa 2026
With limited slots remaining and a growing number of applicants, prospective students are encouraged to act quickly to submit applications here (https://www2.daad.de/deutschland/stipendium/datenbank/en/21148-scholarship-database/?detail=10000279). All applications must be submitted through the NRF’s online system, with supporting documents including transcripts, a well-prepared research proposal, and academic references.
Applications have to be submitted to NRF only. Applications submitted elsewhere will not be considered. Final selection is made by a panel consisting of university professors and representatives of both NRF and DAAD. Successful candidates will be informed through NRF.
