Mississippi State University (MSU) offers a range of scholarship opportunities for out-of-state students entering in the 2026–2027 academic year. These scholarships are designed to recognize academic excellence and provide financial support to students from outside Mississippi. Awards are automatically considered upon admission and are renewable for up to four years, contingent upon maintaining a minimum college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment.

These scholarships can be worth thousands of dollars and are renewable annually for up to 8 semesters (fall and spring) based on maintaining a strong overall GPA at MSU. In addition, students may also qualify for the Non-Resident Military Tuition Waiver (NRMTW), which provides a scholarship waiver covering the non-resident portion of tuition (currently valued at $18,132) if this waiver is greater than the Non-Resident Scholarship amount.

- Incoming freshmen at MSU from outside Mississippi (domestic or international).
- Selection is based on high school GPA (9th–11th grade) and standardized ACT/SAT test scores.
- Students maintaining the required MSU GPA can renew the award for up to 8 semesters.
